The Daisy Quilt

This is the most basic project which will introduce the absolute beginner to this easy silk appliqué technique. Try using a different hand embroidery stitch on each petal or machine around a gentle curve. Add beads or french knots to create the flower centre.

KIT CONTENTS

5" x 5"Hand dyed silk satin sheath (very heavy with sheen on one side)
6" sq 100% cotton coloured base
100% cotton wadding/batting.
Lining fabric.
Transfer adhesive (wonder web/bondaweb).
Acrylic paper - to protect your iron.
Multi coloured hand dyed thread.
Madeira threads - gold metallic, hand stitch.
Tutorial booklet - includes a step by step guide.
Embellishment instructions along with a selection of embroidery stitches.
